Jaina's benefactor is the mysterious entity who, long ago, granted Jaina Jade the ability to open transrealm portals. Their identity and motive remain unknown. Jaina does not know that her portal magic was not innate to her, though she may be starting to suspect (as of Exploring the Outskirts).
